Today is an historic day for us here at Recommended If You Like Records. It was a long time coming, but our first release, the Morningsides debut single (produced by Walter Martin of the Walkmen), is now OFFICIALLY AVAILABLE! You can order yourself a copy (or two?) in the capitalism section (through PayPal!). The single is a limited run (on colored vinyl, no less), so get 'em while they're hot! For a clip of the A Side, "Summer Song", head over to the socialism section. We're happy and giddy and super excited for everything to come... STAY TUNED!

Release schedule changes! /// Thursday, 6 /// dispatch from Chris!
Hello, hello! Lots of changes to the upcoming release schedule... all of it is almost confirmed, but there are a few loose ends still left to be tied. Check out the tentative list of releases at the disco. We now have plans to release a real (RiYL?) full-length compilation documenting artists related to RiYL through Poughkeepsie and the surrounding area. It sounds and looks great so far. Get excited.
We're gonna be releasing the Wowz record, Long Grain Rights, and so we've added two tracks from that album to the socialis m section. There's also a new video clip of Chris Maher and the Post-Modern Lovers. Finally, there's a bunch of new show dates in the shows section, so be sure to check those out.
