Delays... and more!  ///  Sunday, 4  ///  dispatch from Chris!

Delays? Yeah, both REC000 (the FunPak sampler) and REC001 (the Morningsides 7") have been pushed back again due to artwork complications. As a result, REC002 (Daggerhearts' Sissy Boy EP 7") has also been moved back a few weeks. But fear not!! These delays will only result in better records for YOU. Yay!!

In other news, its now confirmed that REC004 will be the Fugue's debut 7". The platter will feature "Four Corner Races" (taken from their as-yet unreleased Muscle EP) in addition to two great songs that won't appear on the EP. Get pumped. As a super-special added bonus, Canada's Seripop will be designing the artwork. WOWOWOWWOW!

The Pathways have sent us the rough mixes of their upcoming full-length (REC006) and damn, its a winner. You kids will flip your lids when you get your hands on it in late Summer. Get a sneak preview when they open for Of Montreal at Bard in a few weeks, or at any of their upcoming NYC shows.

Finally, there's been some talk of the WoWz releasing a full-length on RiYL sometime this year. The band features 2/3rds of the Morningsides (Sam Grossman and John Dydo) along with Simon Beins. More on that to come. And speaking of which, don't forget to catch the last 1/3 of the Morningsides, Chris Maher, opening up for Mike Doughty at Vassar this Thursday, April 8th.

More news soon...
