Quick update! The Pathways have agreed to work on a 7" to put out on Recommended If You Like Records. We couldn't be happier. To celebrate the occasion, we've added one of their songs to the Socialism section. We've also added a song from Colin Kindley (brother of the Pathways' Evan Kindley!), which you should go download now. We'll be working with Colin in the future, as well. Adios amigos.

Happy belated New Year! Things are going along swimmingly here at RiYL, as we're gearing up for our first two releases. To allow for more logistical planning and more time to prepare the artwork for our first two records, we've decided to push the release dates of REC001 and REC002 back to March and April, respectively. If everything goes well at the pressing plant, the release dates may get bumped up.
In other news, we've been talking to our friends in the superb band, the Pathways, about releasing a couple of their songs on a 7". Though its not confirmed, this may end up being REC003.
We received our first shipment of buttons(!) today. They look pretty. They'll be available in the Capitalism section soon as part of a RiYL fun pack, or REC000. In it, you'll get a CDR sampler, a button and a sticker for one very low price. News on that to come...
Until then, take her easy.
