Welcome to the brand new home of Recommended If You Like Records. As of today, we've entered the first public testing phase of our site. Please be kind and hold your horses while we work out the kinks... we'll be operational shortly. If you come across anything that doesn't work, or you have design and/or content suggestions, feel free to send an email to info@riylrecords.com.
2004 looks promising: Our first two releases will be out in the beginning of the year. Our first release will be REC001, the Morningsides debut 7" (recorded by Walter Martin at Marcata Recording), followed by REC002, a double-7" Daggerhearts EP. Also in the works (for a Summer 2004 release) is the first RiYL Compilation, Recommended If You Like Music, which will (most likely) feature previously unavailable tunes from the Morningsides, Daggerhearts, Sam Grossman, Yoko Kikuchi, Discombobulated, the Johns, Chris Maher, Huggabroomstik, Colin Kindley and more.
Also, in the the near future, we hope to have some MP3s by some friends of ours in the Socialis m section. Please check back for that... In the mean time, put on your dancing shoes and get funky.
