NEW RELEASE (FINALLY)! /// Saturday, 23 /// dispatch from Chris!
Hear Ye! Hear Ye! RiYL Records is back in the business of making records with its first new release since 2005! (Has it really been that long? Oh my...) As you may have noticed, we've welcomed our good friends Yoko Kikuchi and Casey Holford to the fold and will bring you their split-EP, "This Song" / "That Song" (REC002), on November 28th, 2006. The limited edition four-song EP was pressed on vinyl and CD and you'll get BOTH for one low price. Hear a preview track: Yoko Kikuchi's "The Morning Dumb"!!
To celebrate, Yoko and Casey (along with NYC's Daoud Tyler-Ameen, who contributes drums and vocals to the EP) are embarking on a brief European tour, starting today. They'll visit France and Germany and have copies of "This Song" / "That Song" for sale at the shows. Soon, those of you in other parts of the world will be able to get your hands on your copy right here, through the RiYL Store.
