"Chanel 3" is the one song on Cool Dump that drummer Johnny Dydo sings. Johnny's deadpan delivery and brilliant imagery recall David Berman's Silver Jews, but the harmonized backing vocals (courtesy of Sam Grossman and Simon Beins) and the hilariously lush instrumention make this song pure WoWz. Though Johnny sang on the Grossman-penned "646" from Long Grain Rights and wrote the words to Nicotine Bubblegum's "Everything is Natural", this marks Johnny's first full composition to appear on a WoWz album.
